How it all began

You are holding a piece of my dream in your hands: being able to create and share with you all the beauty that surrounds us. I am dreaming about taking you on a journey into the world of the nordic lifestyle. To the place of mind where I immerse myself so deeply in. Everything starts with a story and here is how Nordic Stories got started.

I fell in love with photography more than ten years ago. I taught myself how to style, photograph, and edit images. After I got very excited about photography, I decided to take some courses and I learned it at Aalto University alongside my architecture studies.

In these years of learning, I’ve noticed, that my passion is in capturing beautiful, everyday life moments. But I longed for more than just images. I wanted to convey emotions by capturing a specific mood of a moment and translating it into a picture. I believe that photography is a reflection of my soul. It’s my interpretation of a moment I’ve experienced and it´s almost like me telling you a story of my nordic living. This is how Nordic Stories got its name.

Back on the first day of the year 2020, I decided to pursue the things my heart desired. My heart longed for change. As the summer arrived I lost my job and I knew it was my chance to pursue my dream. A dream of living from photography, videography, and the beautiful nordic lifestyle around me. That year I wrote my very first photography guide, made products out of my images, created presets, and made all things creative!

I became an entrepreneur in the fall of 2021 when I finished my architecture studies. Now I call myself an architect and photographer. Nordic Stories is a place where dreams come true. Now I get to photograph every day, create beauty around me and work full time on things I love.
